Amazing player, So quick amazing dribbling, can outrun any player. Skills are a big advantage, fake shots are extremely effective. If you use the dynamic touch feature, most players are very easily beat. My favorite player in the game right now.

I've actively avoided this card all season because of his shooting and stamina but I was desperate for cheap CAM so I thought I'll buy Zaha and crack on til I get my rewards tomorrow.

Well! I can comfortably say he's staying at CAM in my team! I stuck a deadeye on him and the shooting isn't an issue and the Stamina is ABSOLUTELY FINE.

My only issues are his jumping and Heading and at a big push his strength - both heading and jumping are very low and he is really bad at winning aerial battles BUT at CAM it's not really an issue as he's rarely in the box for crosses and I tend to play it to feet for the Attacking mid's unless they're darting down the wing and I can play the ball over whilst they're on the run. As for the Strength it being an issue is at a very big push. He's that fast and agile he doesn't really need strength he slips past defenders without struggling. At Striker I think this would probably be more of an issue.

But either way, 5 games, 3 goals and 7 assists, he's a beast at CAM. The pace and dribbling make it easy for him to sneak into spaces other players can't and his shooting (Whilst sometimes wild) 7 times out of 10 is on target if not a goal. Considering he's only 800 coins if you're looking for somebody quick and good at dribbling with an decent finish, get him and stick a Deadeye on him.

It goes without saying that - although some are impressive - a lot of the FIFA 19 player faces could do with some work. It was much worse at the start of the game though, because since then EA Sports has updated a number of players in FIFA 19 to be more like the real person. Jesse Lingard and Wilfried Zaha are two examples of top flight players that really looked nothing like the player they were supposed to be based on.

That top-flight twosome covers a tiny part of the updated FIFA 19 player faces catalogue. In all 69 players have been updated so far, the most recent being Jadon Sancho of Borussia Dortmund. Don’t be surprised if you come up against Odoi online this season. While he’s only scored 69 overall, a pace rating of 82 makes him tempting for teams who play three at the back, where his speed can cover for other deficiencies. I plan to experiment with him in my Premier League ‘fitness’ team for that very reason. Okay, that and a goatee realistic enough to stroke through the TV screen.

Fulham initially received more updated player faces than any other club: 13 in total, including the previously mentioned Odoi, and Steven Sessegnon, twin brother of 2017/18 hero Ryan Sessegnon. Which was especially curious as the latter didn't get a scanned face in the initial November update, despite being widely considered the West London side’s best player. However…

There he is! Curiously, Fulham fans were made to wait an extra couple of weeks for the more famous Sessegnon to receive an official likeness, but it finally dropped at November's end – as we reported at the time. He formed part of a second batch of Cottagers that also included Tim Ream, Cyrus Christie, and Aboubakar Kamara – who's since departed the club for a loan spell at Turkish side Yeni Malatyaspor.

FIFA 19 launches later this week and Ultimate Team gamers are already on the hunt for the best players to add to their FUT squads.

FIFA 19 goes on sale on Friday and Ultimate Team fanatics are getting ready to sink their teeth into the latest release.

EA Sports have already unveiled their new companion web app, allowing gamers early access to the FUT transfer market and Squad Building Challenges.

And now bwin have conducted research into how fans can best exploit Ultimate Team, maximising chemistry and signing up overpowered players.

The bookmakers have identified a handful of stars from each major European League who could be potent weapons with their inflated player ratings – including former Manchester United flops Wilfried Zaha and Memphis Depay.

From superb individual skills to exaggerated overall stats, there are plenty of players who have been richly rewarded by the EA Sports scouting department.

Supporters may be shocked to see such high ratings on some of these stars, with their influence in FIFA 19 at times greater than that on the actual pitch.

With FUT relying on chemistry to make the most of a squad’s potential, managers should use these boosted players to fill in gaps in their specific league teams.

Premier League stars Jesse Lingard and Wilfried Zaha have for years complained about their haircuts in the FIFA games - so much so that's it's become a running joke.

There was hope EA would get their haircuts right with FIFA 19, but both were left unimpressed after gameplay footage of the beta leaked online.

Now, though, EA has finally got Lingard and Zaha's virtual haircut recreations right via a recently-released new patch that added 48 new player starheads, as they're called.

Manchester United forward Lingard, who played for England at the World Cup in the summer, took to Twitter to express his delight at his new video game look.

And Crystal Palace main man Zaha also took to Twitter to playfully declare: "it's about time."

I reckon both in-game recreations look pretty impressive, perhaps even verging on the photo-real. Of course, when you're actually playing FIFA 19 and you're up against a sweaty player who uses Zaha to score yet another goal against you, you'll want to see the back of his incredibly-detailed mug.

This year's FIFA 19 FUTMAS promotion was kept under wraps, with no leaks or leaked details emerging. In fact, many FUT fans were beginning to doubt that the promo would even take place! Throughout the build-up to Christmas, we will list and update all new FIFA 19 FUTMAS SBC players and Happy Hour pack offers below…

As many of you will now know, FUTMAS has officially been confirmed for FIFA 19. This year's promotion is expected to bring cheer and joy in the form of FIFA 19 FUTMAS SBC cards. These special upgraded FUT players are also expected to follow suit from previous years, being released exclusively via SBCs (Squad Building Challenges).

What is the criteria for picking these FUTMAS players, we hear you ask? Truth be told, apart from looking at each player's designated kit number, only the masterminds at EA's headquarters truly know this. Looking at previous versions of FIFA Ultimate Team, particularly in more recent years, a theme similar to that of a reverse advent calendar has been adopted.

Last year's FIFA 18 FUTMAS promo began at 6pm (UK time) on Friday, December 15, 2017. This date synchronised with a perfect ten-day countdown to Christmas Eve. Players wearing shirt numbers 30-28 were released on day one (Dec 15), with three new FUTMAS SBC players coming to FUT each day thereafter, until shirt numbers 3-1 were finally wrapped up on Christmas Eve.

However, this year's format will be different. EA have officially announced that FIFA 19 Ultimate Team FUTMAS will run from December 14 - December 31, 2018. There will be Daily Player SBCs, Prime ICON SBCs, FUTMAS Themed SBCs and Themed Daily & Weekly Objectives. Every new player and all offers will be updated below…

Каждый раз, когда пишешь рецензию на спортивный симулятор, приходится держать в уме два факта. Первый: это очень консервативный жанр, в котором десятилетиями ничего особенного не происходит. Второй: производственный цикл каждой номерной части меньше года — ничто по меркам индустрии. Это учит внимательнее всматриваться в детали.

Но в случае с FIFA 19 что первое, что последнее впечатление одинаково — геймплейно это почти точная копия предыдущей версии. Вот скоростные прорывы по флангам с проталкиванием мяча правым стиком. Вот забросы за шиворот защитникам, чтобы избавиться от их опеки или продвинуться в свободные зоны. А вот древний скрипт, приводящий к систематическим попаданиям мяча в каркас ворот. Скоро YouTube пополнится новыми роликами таких странных моментов, с саркастичными комментариями к ним.

С той же физикой мяча и тем же темпом игры спектр применения короткого паса по-прежнему ограничен. В основном он нужен для перехода на половину поля соперника, если нет прессинга. В остальных случаях действеннее на газоне расчерчивать треугольники проникающими передачами на ход, да еще в одно касание. Так мяч движется быстрее, а при грамотном исполнении за раз можно оставить позади целую линию из трех-пяти человек.

Подобравшись к штрафной, проще всего завершить атаку с «мертвых точек», откуда удары почти не берутся (хотя, конечно, остается шанс угодить в штангу). Даже после длительного перерыва ваши пальцы наверняка «вспомнят», когда отжать кнопку, чтобы технично положить мяч в дальний от вратаря угол. Добавьте к этому возможность бить низом, зажав три кнопки, и считайте, что на воротах больше никого нет. В штрафной голкиперы почти не отражают такие удары, даже если те слабые и летят в них.

Правда, по воротам еще надо попасть, что не так просто с новой двухкнопочной системой удара. Второе нажатие увеличивает точность и силу, для этого на специальной шкале (видна со включенной опцией тренера) надо поймать ползунок в зеленой зоне. Но даже это не гарантирует, что вы не промахнетесь с убойной позиции. Тогда зачем усложнять? К счастью, в опциях дают переключиться на стандартный режим удара.

Систему тактической защиты, введенную в прошлом сезоне, продолжает штормить. То противоположная команда давит по всему периметру поля, цепляется за каждый мяч, строго держит линии и ловит в офсайдные ловушки (особенно если увлечься разрезающими передачами). А потом ее сковывает апатия: футболисты бросают зоны, не перехватывают читаемые пасы, почти не идут в отборы, пассивны при прострелах и навесах в собственную штрафную.

Это не значит, что «Тактическая защита» хуже справляется с наступательными действиями игрока. Даже без прогресса за год она все также удивляет быстротой и (иногда) хитростью мысли, умением выйти из-под прессинга или навязать его сопернику, перестроениями во время поединка.

Просто вместо латания небольших, но раздражавших дыр в ИИ разработчики предпочли наращивать давление на вас. Теперь оппонент ведет себя жестче на поле, чаще идет в стыки и подкаты, гораздо чаще цепляется за вашего футболиста, чтобы отнять у него мяч или хотя бы притормозить его. Исход противостояния определяет система 50/50 Battles, которая учитывает характеристики и поведение игроков. Но, во-первых, это незаметно при верховой борьбе: здесь по-прежнему побеждает тот, кто выбрал правильную позицию, а не тот, кто выше или сильнее. А во-вторых, не всегда эта скрытая математика понятна: мелкий форвард может долго толкаться локтями с мощным защитником на равных и даже сохранить или отобрать мяч.

Зато стало проще исповедовать тактику мелкого фола, столь популярную среди середняков РПЛ. Ты вцепляешься в футболку противника, будто бульдог, и не даешь ему убежать. Судьи достаточно лояльны к подобным хитростям, хотя правилами они трактуются как срыв атаки и должны наказываться карточками. Для тех, кто предпочитает иметь полный контроль над тактикой, но не любит копаться в параметрах, в ЕА придумали динамическую тактическую систему. Суть в том, что можно создать до пяти схем, записав в них информацию о расстановке, ролях футболистов, а также все параметры, определяющие игровой стиль — от оборонительного до сверхатакующего. А потом переключаться между ними по ходу матча с помощью крестовины геймпада. Как и быстрые замены, добавленные в прошлом году, это нововведение сводит к минимуму обращения к меню управления командой.

Другая новинка — система активного касания — расширяет перечень приемов при первом касании. Например, если раньше неточный пас куда-нибудь в спину приводил к отскоку и потере, то теперь срабатывает скрипт — игрок в прыжке, согнув колени, внешней стороной стопы прокидывает мяч дальше. Футболисты также могут вести его, подбрасывая головой, грудью и коленями, чеканить им в движении, а не только на месте. Хотя такие трюки не меняют характер работы с мячом, они зрелищны и позволяют на ходу обработать передачу или нанести удар с отскоком.

Проверить систему в действии можно в офлайновых матчах: их ассортимент — самый богатый за 25-летнюю истории FIFA. Помимо одиночного поединка есть серии до нескольких побед, финалы лицензированных кубков (не надо начинать с группового этапа или плей-офф). Но прежде всего загляните в раздел с необычными правилами. Так, в «Дальнобое» забитый из-за пределов штрафной гол засчитывается за два, а в другом типе матча учитываются только точные удары головой, с лета, со стандартных положений и с пенальти.

Трогательный реверанс в сторону «Королевской битвы» — «Выживание», где забившая команда теряет игрока (но не вратаря). Свести к минимуму участников не дают: убирают до четырех с каждой стороны за соответствующее количество голов. Также предусмотрено два удаления за грубые фолы, после третьего команде засчитывают поражение. Если душа просит больше хаоса, выбирайте матч без офсайдов, фолов и, соответственно, карточек.

Среди онлайновых режимов сердце EA Sports давно отдано Ultimate Team. Многочисленные испытания на месте, награды за них — тоже, рынок трансферов кипит от сделок, а в Squad Battles, как и прежде, дают сыграть с клубами других пользователей. Надо всем этим возвышается турнир FUT Champions, где соревнуются лучшие из лучших, и попасть туда проще через Division Rivals. В новом режиме участники распределены по дивизионам, соответствующим их уровню мастерства, так что матчи получаются равными и напряженными. Победы повышают рейтинг и позволяют соревноваться с более сильными оппонентами, а главное — приносят очки, которые можно потратить на участие в Weekend League, квалификационном раунде FUT Champions.

Заключительная глава «Истории» преподнесена в FIFA 19 с привычным размахом: где еще вы увидите приглашенных звезд уровня Пауло Дибалы, Кевина Де Брейне, а также Ханса Циммера в качестве композитора? Британскому вундеркинду Алексу Хантеру по-прежнему отводится ведущая роль в сюжете, но уже не единственная. Почти на равных с ним экранное место делят его сводная сестра Ким и обаятельный раздолбай Дэнни Уильямс.

Три сюжетные линии развиваются параллельно, но почти независимо друг от друга. Пока Алекс в Мадриде пытается закрепиться в составе «Реала», Ким в США водит дружбу со звездой сборной США Алекс Морган, а тем временем Уильямса нелегкая заносит в клуб АПЛ. Можно переключаться между историями в любой момент либо сконцентрироваться на одной.

Несколько главных героев призваны прежде всего разбавить монотонность, свойственную предыдущим сериям. У персонажей разные позиции, а следовательно, задачи на поле, разные навыки и общий рейтинг, даже прокачка осуществляется по-разному. Хантеру, как звезде, достаточно усердно тренироваться и налаживать отношения с наставниками, чтобы перенять их навыки. Дэнни и Ким, помимо этого, должны набирать очки опыта и тратить их на особые умения, выбирая в их дереве навыков.

Все это, однако, не решает главную проблему «Истории» — линейность. Редкие судьбоносные решения не имеют серьезных последствий, у всех игроков будет примерно одинаковое прохождение.
