FIFA 19 MOTM orange cards are awarded for standout performances in cup competitions. FUT Man of the Match cards are tradeable and released in packs for a limited time, at certain points throughout the year.
FIFA 19 MOTM cards receive the same level upgrades as TOTW (Team of the Week) in-form players. Managers sometimes like to experiment with their teams more in these competitions, as a result we often see interesting position changes with these cards.
Orange Man of the Match items Will affect OTW (Ones to Watch) cards! To be clear, the exact same stats/upgrades will automatically be applied to any OTW cards soon after the release of a FUT 19 MOTM. However, all OTW positions will remain the same.
Due to these players only being available in FUT packs for a limited time, we often see high prices for the higher rated items. In previous versions of FIFA Ultimate Team many of these players were only available in packs for 24 hours (occasionally longer).

FIFA 19 MOTM orange cards reward the most inform players from the domestic cups and continental club tournaments (Champions League and Europa League). Let’s learn something more about these orange cards.
What is the Man of the Match?
The Man of the Match cards were created in FUT 12 to reward the best players of matches not covered by the TOTW cards. It is the case of the UEFA club competitions final stages, domestic cups finals and International National Teams finals.
The first time ever these cards were released was in Euro 2012 matches. In that time they were purple, but in the FIFA World Cup 2014 they have been replaced by green ones. These cards were assigned to the most in form players of important international competitions, like World Cup, Copa America or European Championship.
There are two types of MOTM cards: dMOTM, domestic man of the match cards, used for domestic cups played by clubs; and cMOTM, continental man of the match, used for continental tournaments played by clubs. This year, the cMOTM items are split into Champions League MOTM cards and Europa League MOTM cards, depending on the competition where the player stood out.
An orange card is assigned to the best players of these matches, selected by EA Sports. They usuall become available in packs for seven days. During this period, the FIFA 19 MOTM orange cards replace the corresponding regular cards. One of the several new cards this year in ultimate team are Ones to Watch (OTW). OTW cards were given to players who transferred to a new club over the Summer 2016 transfer window.
